Cabinet refinishing is all we do — and it shows.
Arsh Art Cabinet Refinishing is a family-owned cabinet painting and refacing studio in Vaughan, serving homeowners across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. While most painting companies treat cabinet work as a side service squeezed in between exterior jobs, we built our entire business around it. Doors come off, travel to our spray shop, get prepped and finished in a controlled environment, and return to your home looking like new factory cabinets — not a brushed-on field paint job.
Our mission is to give Toronto homeowners a real third option between living with dated cabinets and the upheaval of a full kitchen renovation — a finish that genuinely lasts, installed by people who actually answer the phone.
From a painting reputation to a cabinet specialist.
Arsh Art didn’t start in a vacuum. It grew out of a painting company that had already spent years earning Toronto homeowners’ trust — and a quiet realization that cabinets deserved their own studio.
Years of painting craft, built one home at a time.
Royal Home Painters has been painting Toronto and GTA homes for years — interiors, exteriors, condos, custom builds, you name it. That’s where Amir trained crews, learned which products actually hold up to Canadian seasons, and built a reputation for finishing what we start. Royal Home Painters still operates today and remains the painting arm behind everything we do.
A studio dedicated to one thing: cabinets.
By 2017, kitchen cabinet work had outgrown a side service. Sara and Amir launched Arsh Art Cabinet Refinishing as a separate studio so cabinets could get what they actually need — a dedicated spray booth, professional Italian coatings, and a process built around removing doors and finishing them off-site. One niche, done properly, with the painting reputation of Royal Home Painters standing behind it.
What we’ve spent a decade getting right.
Cabinets are a specialty surface. They’re handled every day, slammed shut, splashed with cooking oil, and wiped down with cleaners. Anyone can roll paint on them. Making a finish that survives a Toronto kitchen for 5+ years takes a different skill set.
Factory-quality spray finish
We remove every door, drawer face, and end panel and spray them in our Vaughan shop with HVLP equipment. No brush marks, no roller stipple, no overspray drifting through your living room. The finish you walk back to looks the way new cabinets look on a showroom floor.
Premium Italian coatings
We’re a Renner shop. Renner is the Italian cabinet coating system European furniture factories build their reputation on — high adhesion, hard cure, low VOC, and a finish hand that genuinely feels factory-applied. For brush/roller jobs, we use Benjamin Moore or Renner; for spray-painting, we use only Renner Cabinet Coatings.
Every cabinet type, handled correctly
Oak with open grain. Thermofoil with peeling vinyl. Melamine that nothing wants to stick to. Maple, MDF, laminate, raised-panel, shaker, slab. Each one needs a different prep and primer system. After 10+ years and well over a thousand kitchens, we know which one yours needs.
Our vision is simple: become the cabinet refinishing studio Toronto homeowners recommend without hesitation — because the finish lasts, the experience feels easy, and we do exactly what we said we would.
— Sara & Mike, Owners
A decade of kitchens, neighbours, and 5-star reviews.
Sara & Amir — every project, personally.
“When you call us, you reach us. Not a call centre, not a sales rep working on commission, not a junior who’ll send someone you’ve never met. Sara and I quote the project, plan the colour, and stand behind every finish that leaves our shop. That’s the part we won’t outsource.”
Sara handles design consults, colour matching, and the office side of the business — she’s the one most clients hear from in the days before a project starts. Amir runs the shop, the spray bay, and the on-site install crew. Between us we’ve been refinishing cabinets in Toronto homes for over a decade, and we still personally walk every kitchen at the end before we hand the keys back.
Independently verified, fully insured, professionally trained.
We’re a real Toronto business with real paperwork — WSIB-covered crews, full liability insurance, verified review profiles, and active manufacturer training with the products we apply.
