Another common question about painting kitchen cabinets is if it is ideal to paint the parts with laminates, such as end panels. Yes, you can paint these parts without any adverse effects. The only point is that painting on laminates requires priming, the same as the doors and drawer faces. We use the best primer to apply on laminates to avoid problems with these parts.
Painting kitchen cabinets doesn’t impact other home areas since significant parts of the cabinet, such as the doors and drawers, won’t be painted in the kitchen. This means you can continue using your home just as you have been using it.
Whether you can keep using your kitchen or not during the procedure depends on the method adopted by your painter. If a painter paints the cabinets on-site, your kitchen won’t be available for use during the period, which can be up to 3 days. This is necessary as they will cover everything in your kitchen, keeping it away from the paint and dust.
However, we have our particular method of painting, which allows homeowners to use their kitchens. While this doesn’t mean you can use your kitchen anytime you want, you can use it intermittently during the process, which is when we are not working on the cabinet.
After you select the design for the new doors and the measurement done properly, it takes about 10 business days to have the doors built. The next step is to painting them. So in general you should consider between 14 to 18 business days before the new doors are installed.
How long it takes to paint kitchen cabinets depends on the painter who determines how well the job is done. However, as a guide, a proper kitchen cabinets painting should take about a week. Also worth mentioning is that your painter can take the doors and drawers to his workshop or carry out the whole job at your place.

If you feel that you can take care of uninstalling and reinstalling the doors and drawers, then you only need to drop the cabinet doors in our shop and pick them up. These will save you a good amount of money, however, our warranty will not cover the areas that are not painted by our painters.
Yes and No. Like many other products, there are different qualities available in the market. That is very important for you when it comes to replacing your wood doors with MDF doors. If the new doors are built with High Density and High-quality MDF professionally prepared for Cabinets Doors, you will be able to use them at least for the next 10 years.
Remeber that the general use MDF or the ones you find at HomeDepot or Lowes are not specifically built for cabinets doors.
The most cost-effective way to have your cabinets refaced is to have MDF doors built, painted and installed.
To schedule a project after getting approval from our clients, we need to collect a deposit.
The deposit amount is calculated as 30% for any job under $5,000 and 50% for the projects quoted as $5,000 and over.
